For families looking to join us in Reception or Year 3 there are open days during November which allow you to experience the schools during a normal day and find out more about the schools. For admissions in September 2024, the tour dates are as follows: 13th, 14th and 15th November at the Infant School for Reception and 20th, 21st and 22nd November at the Junior School for Year 3. For children in Reception, a further visit to the school and transition meeting is held in June/July once you have accepted a place for your child at our school.

Admission Arrangements

Broughton Community Schools offers places to 60 pupils per year group.  The school’s admission arrangements are as described by the Buckinghamshire Education authority for all county schools. All applications for a place at our school must be made via the Buckinghamshire Council School Admissions Portal.

If a space is available they will contact you directly to offer it, and then notify us. If no spaces are currently available your child can be added to the Continued Interest list (waiting list) and the Admissions Team will notify you once a space becomes available.

Buckinghamshire County Council can be contacted via the link to their Contact Us form at https://services.buckscc.gov.uk/school-admissions.

Please note that an application for a place in Year 3 at the Junior School must be made if your child is in one of our Year 2 classes at Broughton Infant School.
